If you could change, remove or add a rule in boxing what would it be.

Because I think many fighters get away with excessive holding I would make it a rule that you can't hold more then 3 times a round between rounds 1-10 and in the final two rounds you can hold 5 times per round.

If you could change, remove or add a rule what would it be?

    Here's a good example.

i would remove draws...after 12 rounds, they reveal the scores and if it's even, they go 3 more rounds

also if after 6 rounds, there have been less than 200 total punches thrown by both fighters, the fight is stopped and ruled a no contest and neither fighter gets paid

Only a maximum of XXX clinches per round or within a certain time-frame.

Get rid of exclusive contracts between promoters. Set up a fighters union and let all these promoters try to out bid each other for the best fights. Everyone would fight everyone with promoter feud out of the way.

Out of the ring: A worldwide parent boxing regulator to better consolidate the un-acceptably high number of organisations, belts, regulators, commissions, drugs agencies.

In the ring: Stronger controls on clinching and within that, head-butts. The ref's guide within a single round should be:

3 clinches = verbally discourage the fighter
5 clinches = verbally warn him
            Any additional = point deduction.

Retaining the ref's judgement to stop the fight if he feels the clinches are entirely ruining the fight after repeated warnings, or endangering 1/both fighters.

they should also be able to use video to determine the legitimacy of a KD or the causes of cuts ie. accidental headbutt or punch

Set an amount on how many times you can clinch, likely 5 before point deduction.

I'd change the size of a Ring to 14 X 14 get rid of Incompetent Judges, opening scoring to keep an eye on Corrupt judging and If there's a draw after the fight the fight goes into overtime until there's a Victor. Go back to 15 round fights so that way we know who's really the Champion cause back in the day rounds 13 to 15 were considered the Championship rounds. Allow fighters more freedom as to say if a fighter is a Goldenboy fighter he can still opt to fight a Arum fighter this would eliminate the BS from not making great fights happen. Also allow fighters to sue if a brain injury, shoulder dislocation or other career ending injuries happens, They should be able to file a Workers Comp injury take a look at Gerald Mclemon he lives on SSI after making guys like King and Arum ****** rich
