Will you give Haye credit if he beats Fury?

It's been explained to you several times and all you can do is say "Haye didn't run". Doesn't sound like you know what you're watching. Moving backwards and not throwing punches for 12 rounds is running. Trying to land 1 big punch is not strategy against a top fighter.
No. In fact everyone else is agreeing that running is not the right word. So it actually seems like you are the one in denial.

Haye threw around 300 punches throughout the fight, so I guess that makes your argument pointless. Or are we now debating how many punches should be thrown for a backwards fighting boxer, before it's not "running"?

I guess Haye ran from Chisora too, right?

He did run from Chisora but Chisora was always right in front of him so he was forced to actually fight. Wladimir didn't give him a target so therefore he should have changed his tactics to try to win. But he didn't. He was content to keep running and lose a decision.

And he was losing the fight too, right?

In rounds, he was winning the fight obviously. The way the fight was going though would have made for an interesting last few rounds if the referee hadn't stopped it prematurely. It had a Cotto-Margarito I feel about it. Again, you're in denial if you think Haye was in total control of that fight.

I have never said Haye was in "total control" of the fight. He was certainly gassing a bit at the end of the 3rd and 4th, but I don't think I gave Chisora a round to be honest.

And also, Haye landed a right hand on Chisora in the 4th that make him walk backwards for the first time in the fight. That gave Haye the confidence that he could finish him off in the 5th. He wasn't lucky.

more interesting is that if Fury beats Haye he will become a legit contender, hes not really done enough yet.

Haye is already a legit solid contender of course and should be treated as that.

As regards scam artists, we are in the era of scam artists, with the tag teaming circus K bros defending against midgets, fatboys and oldies. No shame in being a drop in the ocean. Haye was just as bad as them when he was champion (Valuev when he won it, Fraudley defence but at least he faced Klit to his credit and at least Haye was a genuine champion at CW).

I don't rate Fury one bit. If he wasn't huge and strong he would not be a boxer

I think anybody in the top 8 in the world but beat him and most would stop him

Haye is doing what any decent boxer would do and evade Klit's flurry with his athleticism. What else is he supposed to do, stick his chin out and take it?? It's hilarious that at the end of that gif, Klit grabs him out of frustration. Something he did for the majority of the fight.

Jedi, you're a great poster, and you're almost always right with your comments on Vitali, but ^ is bull****. That gif shows that Wladimir was the aggressor. He was on the front foot the entire night.
