I don't think he should of took such a long layoff to begin with. Pacquiao is 34 years old now he won't get better with time sitting on the sidelines. He should of came back in June like he wanted to with a tune up and should be going into his 2nd fight this year... It would have been better for him got the rust off and the JMM cobwebs out, now there is a lot of pressure..
Truth is, Manny changed long ago when his spiritual responsibilities became #1 in his life. His change as a human being affected him inside as well as outside the ring. Then count his his Political responsibilities. As well as the stardom uprising endorsements and so on! He got caught. Put to sleep by a determined Marquez. Although Rios is no Marquez, he does bring action to the ring and power punching. He want the KO. He has a Granite chin and dont mind using it. He really dont know how to fight going backwards. Also...he needs to win. Its his shot of a life time. Hes hungry.
Manny better be his old self in this fight. He better have the cob webs off and the ring rust lubed. He better have his mind 100% more than anything...If not...he will get KTFO by Rios!

And Team Pacman doesnt choose who PAcquaio fights, Team Bob Arum does. If Rios knocked out rugged Alvarado, maybe Bob would have chosen a different fighter for Manny. But I was just wondering out loud.

Finally pacquiao realized that he will remain less relevant in boxing if he does not do a good job on rios. If he wants to fight floyd, jmm or bradley, this rios fight better not last 12 rounds. He can do it with complete discipline on training. Rios might retire as a young boxer if ever.

I'm excited for this fight just knowing how Rios brings it in every fight. He's not gonna dance just come right after you, and he can take a punch.
Pac shines in fights like this, and I'm interested in how he bounces back. I've never been KO'd before but I've been bit bad by a dog, and that moment makes me a little tentative around all dogs. I wonder if it will make pac tentative fighting a man that's coming to test that chin
