floyd was the best fighter,,, "retired" for awhile

There was no demand for manny at welter til oscar cherrypicked him and it backfired and manny beat an old shot oscar looking for an easy ko of smaller guy like he had done vs chavez, leija, ruelas, genaro......
Manny became boxing's biggest star after beating oscar
manny then met hatton for the lineal title at 140 and destroyed hatton in absolute spectacular fashion...

then floyd came back to regain his spot and picked manny's rival jmm as a tune-up..
floyd schooled jmm for 12 rounds

then manny fought cotto at a CW but the idea that little manny had any chance was popular,, floyd SR thought manny was dumb because cotto would destroy manny
manny beat the living hell out of cotto,,,
Then floyd beat up mosely for his welter title,,,

then everything broke down and floyd never demanded the fight, and manny didnt demand the fight,,,
floyd was making killer $$$$ not fighting manny, and manny does whatever bob arum tells him to do,, and bob didnt want his cashcow getting beat anytime soon,,,

So they just danced around this fight for years till manny got old and ko'd by jmm,,,

and now the fight is kinda meaningless,,,

its a shame because it was the biggest fight ever and the whole globe, not just a country, but the whole damn world wanted to see it,,,,,

floyd and manny are to blame,,,

and to sum up the thread,,, manny 2008-09 was a beast,,,, maybe not a natural beast but dude was a whirlwind that destroyed everything in his path,,,
Floyd always wins, but he doesnt destroy guy unless its old gatti or shambra... Manny was destroying top guys and making it look easy,,,
    Well done, solid post!

2009 Pac would have destroyed Floyd, health comes first when it comes to Floyd, to this day Floyd still can't keep Mannys name out of his mouth, Pac has been in Floyds nightmares for years.

Why does his ****** ass fans work off that year as if he was unbeatable....they use that year for every excuse and argument for majority of their threads and posts....

That was his only great year and the only string his dumbass fans grab a hold of....

They make it so easy to have him criticized and downplayed.

That overrates him to say the very least if you ask me...it makes it seem like he only had a 1year career...

Floyd's best year is hard to choose because he's been so masterful throughout his career that you can't come up with his best year on boxing...

During his fight with Marquez, the commentators touched on this...that alone seals his legacy...from 130 to 154, he's been brilliant...

Manny's only significant year was when he could've been juicing...

Stop overrating this kid folks...he shined and peaked that year...his only great year in boxing in terms of unforgettable performances against champions...

Floyd's 1998 year sparks it...his 2005 year sparks it...his 2007 year sparks it as well...

And his 2009 win over Jmm sparks it because he came off of a damn near 2 year layoff and put on an unforgettable display of technical brilliance against a future hall of famer whom have given Manny nightmares...and I don't mean on elm street.lol

He won every round against Marquez and looked amazing, showing us new defensive weapons we hadn't ever seen from him...round 4 and round 6...

He made it look easy which is so scary about him...he didn't bully Marquez..me outboxed..didn't have use his size...he changed jmm's style by out thinking him and using his pace against him...

          That's true gifts from GOD...

The kid is too mesmerizing as a boxer...he was born for this glory...

And will retire undefeated as the greatest fighter of the last 30 years, no doubt in my mind...
A fine example of floydiot who doesn't think logically other than using their pea size brain and mouth sucking Floyd cums as replacement to their dying brain cells.

Floyd biggest wins in his career were against past prime shot Oscar, small bloated Hatton, past prime Mosley, past prime Cotto and weight cheated lightweight Marquez. Pac beat prime Marquez twice without weight cheating him while Floyd can't do so without while the rest (Oscar, Hatton, Mosley, and Cotto) Pac beat them worst and easily.

Did you know by the age of 24 Pac was already a 3 divisions champ and 2 linear champ while your boy at this age still fighting bums after bums?

Pac accomplishments (Fighter of the Decade, 4 linear champ, 8 divisions champ, etc.) over towering Floyd imprisonment award for beating the mother of his children in front of them.

The next time you compare the Honorable Congressman Pacquiao to ex-con Mayweather you better think twice first and use your brain.

Boxing is not all about Mayweather skills but results and accomplishment.

Money Mayweather better hope his fight with the Canelo would make three times as much as a Pacquiao fight. (Anyone who says a May/Pac fight would make less is lying to himself.)

Alvarez is three times more dangerous than Pacquiao at this point.

Can't wait to see him struggle with the Mexican.

Manny started boxing pro at age 15 or 16.. So in 8 or 9 years he won 3 titles...that's good for him....he was also stopped twice wasn't he.....

Floyd fighting bum after bum makes your argument void...I wouldn't call coralles, Chavez, Hernandez bums...manfredy was a solid win... :****you:

Floyd has been on the p4p list for over 15 years...Manny's opponent must've not been that good because he only started to shine when he beat morales and barerra.....

I'm not underestimating Manny, you people overrate him.....him beating Oscar was Oscar's fault, and I never gave Manny slack for that win, but it doesn't mean that It was a good win seeing how Oscar looked bad against Forbes and lost to Floyd first, and roach even admitting Oscar was old and ripe for the picking.....I'm sure Manny knew this also...

So, his best year was 2009 when he sparked hatton out at 140 after hatton looked terrible against lascano after being stopped by Floyd and him stopping Paulie was okay I guess, but he changed trainers for Manny and still fought his same rush in style....

We all know about cotto....it was Manny's best win and Floyd still trumps it...just deal with it...

2013 and Floyd fans still make fans about Pacman?? And then talk crap about Pacman fans, wow. Add to this the fact that 90% of Floyd fans were on a smear campaign against Pacman fans for catchweights and now they've found a way to spin the double standard?! LOL!!

2009 Manny would lose to 1998 Floyd Mayweather Jr.
