I'll never understand how people thought Maidana wouldn't be a tough fight for Broner.
I did think Broner would edge it, but like I said and argued before the fight there was no way Maidana wasn't going to make it extremely tough and not only did he do that he took it to another level and beat him up to a comfortable decision.

Maidana does the same if they rematch.
So you also underestimated Maidana/overestimated Broner. In honesty it was tempting for many to overestimate Broner because of the misplaced marketing funds put into him (just like Berto and Ortiz before him) - thats the power of marketing for you.
It took a real objective and detached fan to see broner for what he really was - an average arm-puncher with good speed, nonexistent footwork, poor defence and generally low boxing ability.

I wouldn't say I underestimated Maidana because I have him a good shot at winning and a very good shot at dropping him. I expected an SD either way.
I would so I overestimated Broner even though I've never really rated him that highly and especially after the Pauli fight which I thought could have gone either way.
You guys had the same feeling for Berto and now look at him.
He's Berto v2, deal with it
Hey man berto at least had some balls, when he took his L he bounced back with real tough fights, Broner is fighting floor moppers and sandwhich makers.
