I think Pacquiao wins but Rios is def going to land some right hands so it will be interesting to see how Pacquiao's chin holds up.

Manny's star power has taken a huge hit and this fight will do well under 1 million buys here in the States and the fact that this fight is in China is a turn off at least fight in the Philippines If not the US

Since this fight is selling in china... does that mean they're gonna combine US + China PPV numbers? with chinas huge population, couldn't this fight technically sell like 3 million? or am I just trippin. i know zou shiming is going to be on the card, probably fighting another (1-1-1) opponent.

One loss was (widely deemed) a robbery and the other was against his arch-rival. Technically, Marquez delivered to Pacquiao his first real loss since Morales.
I won't disagree with you on his star-power, however.

CANNOT PASS UP MENTION OF JAY EDSON
Although I won’t go into depth, this was the last Top Rank event that Event Coordinator Jay Edson would be part of before terminal Cancer struck him down. Many things have been said about Bob Arum, but the manner in which the Top Rank skipper handled his ailing employee/friend was one of class. It saddens me to even write this, but after I had Jay’s room papered with flowers, he took some other flowers he took with him that brought some peace and solitude to one of the greatest men you’ll ever have met if you ever did
Arum also anonymously paid for all Gennaro Hernandez's expensive cancer therapy for years, brought him to therapy and brought him home, supported his wife and family...All this for years and without any ballyhoo, it only came out after the funeral.
Arum and his wife do lot of this sort of thing, and his wife has founded several Ho****es. They are at the top of several charities and are the major contributors.
All this with no talk or bragging or boasting or burning $100 notes etc. To me that's a gentleman and a sportsman and a good person. The boxing fans who curse him daily know nothing about this. I think they'd be upset that it might get in the way of their prejudices so they'd ignore it..

Why does Freddie (and many others) feel Manny has to be spectacular? All he needs to do is WIN! He needs to hit and NOT GET HIT. Rios is TOO STRONG for toe-to-toe! Manny NEEDS a rematch with the winner of Marquez vs. Bradley. Only then does he need to be spectacular! He won't UD Marquez or Bradley, he needs a KO with either one of them.

Stylelistically this will be something similiar to Pacquiao vs Margarito.
What I'm looking forward to seeing, is how post KTFO Pacman looks like? This will tell the world on whether he should retire or not. Win or Lose; if he can't or doesn't fight with confidence that we're used to seeing him fight with. Then yeah, I think he should move on to the next chapter of his life.
(Though, I'm still rooting for Rios to pull the upset.)
