If Rocky is smart, he would fake an injury, cause there's 110% chance of an ass whooping coming.

He's being forced to fight a guy who hasn't fought even a single fight at 130. This is just more boxing corruption.
He fought Barros at 128, that's a jr LW fight.

If Garcia has not fought at 130 then it should be a big advantage for Martinez. The longer it takes to make this fight the more adapted or adjusted Mickey is going to be and with it the punishment for the Rican could be worse. It is similar to the Alvarez-Floyd situation since right now it the best moment for Floyd to take the fight because Canelo just got 23 yrs old and his peak should be coming in 2-3 years while Floyd is going to show more his age as time goes by (maybe in 18 to 24 motnhs that fight could have been suicidal for Floyd).

That would be a good fight no doubt, 130 is pretty much ass so I have no issue with a guy coming up being the mandatory even though it is always kind of odd when guy loses his belt on the scale then gets rewarded for that but that always happens so why get bent out of shape about that here especially when there is not much talent at 130.

Suck for Martinez though who will probably get wrecked, but that isn't my concern~

or he can just fight the WBA or IBF champion next and skip this fight for now

                It's very su****ious.

Roman Martinez was only yesterday talking about looking at other options, wanting to choose the one that offered up the biggest payday.

And now today the WBO is going to force him to fight Mikey who isn't even ranked at 130.

It does seem like maybe Bob Arum pulled some strings behind the scenes.

Okay. The point is that Mikey campaigns at 126 and is a former featherweight champ. Can you explain to me how that should, in any way, shape or form, make him a current mandatory for a 130 lb. belt?

This has nothing to do with advantages or disadvantages. It's about what's right.

Once again, this is about what's right, nothing else. Entertaining fight or not, Martinez, a champion, should have his pick.

Garcia is the best fighter at 126 and 30, but fucking "Rocky" over so Mikey can cut the line is bullshit.
