Are you crazy man? He was hurt to the hip in that fight.. that's it. Lopez has bone cracking ability.. he broke Ortiz's big ass jaw. Im sure his same left hook on the hip doesn't feel good. but This Maidana is a powderpuff to body shots thing is hilarious.

on topic, Al Haymon is owning ****. I knew Maidana could get a Mayweather shot in the next 2 fights or so, and this proves that Haymon knows that too. Good move by Haymon, good move by Maidana. This will help him not get robbed if things go to the cards in his fights.

There is something much bigger going on with all these signings as of late. Think about it, Golden Boy wants all of their fighters to sign managerial packs with Al Haymon since promoters can't manage fighters and just how many welterweights are left who are with other promotional outfits. Pacquiao, Bradley and Marquez. Soon Showtime and Golden Boy will control junior welterweight-jr middleweight but by then fighters in every other division will be clamoring to be with Golden Boy. Just my random piece of shyt thoughts. Top Rank & HBO have been out maneuvered.

"Advisor" Al Haymon definitely acts like a manager. Getting paid from both fighters you manage is not legal but I guess as long as his official title is advisor he gets away with. Shady sport when no one calls this stuff out.

Manager/Adviser.. Whatever Al Haymon is. I don't understand why GBP can't just handle these guys on their own. Why do boxers need a manager? Why are they so willing to give more % of their fight purse away. Would be interesting to see the true inner workings.
