Maidana Joining Al Haymon as well?

It looks like former jr. welterweight champion Marcos Maidana could join fellow former jr. welterweight champion Amir Khan as the latest fighter

Interesting if its true, Al is getting a very nice selection of fighters it seems.

Like how I said for Amir Khan and Al Haymon. For Maidana, it is a good move as long as he does not get hit by a bodyshot or fight a technical boxer or fight Adrien Broner, then having al haymon is meaningless if you don't finish the 12 rounds in convincing fashion. Maidana can't take a bodyshot, but he can take one better than Khans chin can take a punch. Haymon needs to sign winners who don't have weaknesses or whose weaknesses have not been exposed.

No one but Josesito Lopez Exposed him when it came to taking bodyshots. I thought the Ref would stop that fight because of that Flurry Lopez was landing on maidana's body.

Haymon is obviously been hard at work. He's offering these guys heaven. A heaven they can't refuse. No problem for fans, probably. Herd them all in one place and fights might be easier to make.

You are being slightly ridiculous. Maidana was hurt, but no where near being stopped. Look how he performed after that. He go the stoppage win.

I'll never post again if someone stops Maidana with a body punch. He may get hurt by them, but he's too tough to quit because of it.

He's basically signed up every top fighter on the golden boy roster and then some. I guess this good. Except for having to see the Watsons on every damn boxing telecast lol

Giving the way Maidana eventually destroyed Josesito and Ortiz, and how Khan's face looked after the final bell, I would put a question mark over the real effect of those body (or head) shots.

He is signing everyone at welterweight, it seems. Anyone you could name that might get a Mayweather fight in any scenario is with Haymon.
