Why is Roberto Duran bashing Mayweather?

I think Roberto is pissed at nobody taking care of Floyd. His hands must be itching because he probably knows exactly how to beat him. Just by simply roughing him up, hitting him everywhere, non stop and be able to take punishment while dishing it out. Roberto had the stamina, the power, the will and the ring IQ to do it.

There is a reason why Floyd ducked Margarito and the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight did not get made.

duran is one of the greatest ever. top 5 to some. top 10 to most everybody. it's not hard to understand why a guy who was that great and a guy who shared a ring with the likes of leonard, benitez, hearns and hagler is not easily impressed.

i don't think he dislikes mayweather. he just doesn't see what the big deal is.

I think if there is one fighter that deserves a verbal bashing from roberto duran, it should be Tyson Fury. Fury should be glad Klitschko is mature because if he wasn't, Fury would have been smashed by him. Who deserves more bashing? I think it is Tyson Fury, not Mayweather. Tyson Fury will take a bashing from David Haye.

fury seems more like a big oaf that you can just laugh at and not take seriously. mayweather on the other hand is arrogant and has been in trouble with the law more than once and is just hard to like outside the ring. I respect his boxing talent but I cant stand him as a person. just too damn arrogant. anyway,,,duran is entitled to his opinion. hes not alone there. I dont think floyd would be just ordinary but I think he'd lose some fights,,espescially to hearns and srl. duran would be a tough one to call as would a fight with hagler
