I say yes because he already is the best non klit HWT along with Povetkin.

But based on some crap I read earlier he would only be 4th best behind the klits and Haye.

I think he'd be a bit behind povetkin at #3 followed by haye but pulev should get the victory

I expect Wlad to take care of Povetkin rather easily so that will push him down the list. I suppose Haye can be argued, especially if he destroys Fury like most expect. As far as the fight itself, I see it as a 50/50 toss up.

          Lol hell no.

Pulev hasn't faced top competition of his own, so how would that elevate Thompson? It would rather prove that Pulev is not as good.

If Thompson could beat Pulev, Haye and then Povetkin/Fury then I could agree to him beig the second best.

The real question is.. If TT beats Pulev, will we see a Wlad trilogy?

I think thompson makes a good fight of it early but pulev should wear the old man down late. pulev isnt spectacular in any one area but hes solid and has shown very good stamina. should be a competitive scrap though

I would lose some major respect if wlad fought thompson again. that would just be ******. I let mormeck and pinetta pass becuz alot of the top fighters turned down fights with wlad,,,but this would be just bad

But isn't it an eliminator for the IBF? Maybe not officially but Pulev probably gets a shot if he wins. Regardless, I truly hope Wlad would give up his belt instead of fighting TT for a third time. Or, Vitali could swoop in and make him give up his mandatory shot by offering him a shot at the WBC strap.

yea,,,wlad cares too much about that belt. he should just let it go when or if tt becomes mandatory. I wouldnt mind seeing vit fight him tho,,,at least hes old like tt now,,,and it could make for a close tough fight. wish vit would retire tho and let the younger guys scrap for it

I wouldn't argue to much with this scenario.
