can there ever be anyone cooler than the 1995-1997 version of Mike Tyson?

"Most recognisable athletes at the last Olympics in China"? First off, the last Olympics were in London, last year, secondly, I've no idea how you would measure that, and thirdly, shouldn't that title belong to Usain Bolt??

Why doncha read what Mike has to say about that part of his life or better still, go watch him on stage. Living that kinda excess ain't what you think. But you never realise 'til you've lived it.

None of those things apply to a 95-97 Mike Tyson. If you had said "can there ever be anyone more terrifying than the 1995-1997 version of Mike Tyson?," you might have a case for that. But even then I would say a 88-89 Mike Tyson is genuinely one of the most terrifying people in recorded history, if not the most.
This is a good post (imo)

Tiger Woods but not these two, the last basketball player on that level of global fame I think was Michael Jordan.

Not at all, it's either Leo Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo - two biggest stars of the most popular sport in the world.

that's close. might even lean toward tyson. the list is 1. Ali 2.Babe Ruth 3. tiger woods 4. mike tyson 5. michael jordan. the best guys in sports today arent really on that status. I mean that's basically the end of the list. As much weight as guy' names like /gretsky, nicklaus, pepe, ronaldo, mickelson, manning, ronaldo/ carry its not the same thing. Babe Ruth has a still popular candy bar named after him. no one else can say that!

                      Early Foreman.

Ali took him to the hottest place on earth and killed the legend.
