Cotto said he didn't feel a difference in the punches, but Margarito said he didn't feel a difference in the wraps from the Mosley fight either. Even he doesn't know so how would some mother ****er in the dressing room know? Also, Maniac and all the mexicans need to get over th*s ****, whether he used or not your boy is blind and busted as **** for his "warrior" style. I'll take being able to fight and earn that paper like Cotto does, even if he is shot, still got the better end of the deal.

Margarito put a beating on Cotto fair and square, On the rematch Cotto started running once he found out Margarito's punches felt the same. During the whole fight Margarito only landed a about a quarter of what he did in the first fight, when you look at the last round, cotto got hurt , looked exhausted going into the corner.

He clearly hurt Pacquiao to teh body, something Cotto couldn't do, clear proof Margarito had pop in his punches.
He usually handed out beatings in the gym....Soto Karass was his most frequent victim, but in the Mosley camp, Karass was actually beating on Tony...clearly signs that Margarito's team knew they had to do something drastic for him to perform in the Mosley fight...

Margarito looked pretty ordinary when he was getting dominated by guys like Daniel Santos. Then like a miracle he became a damaging puncher. That lasted til he was caught before the Mosley fight for cheating. After being caught he became ordinary again. Losing to a fighter who gains an unfair advantage by cheating can ruin a fighter for life. Ask Billy Collins senior!

Remember he's still the only guy to stop Sergio, dominate him in fact. That was way back, no chance he's been loading gloves that long.

rofl. log in to your maniac account and come with more vitriol. give me red karma.
richardson noted first the hardness of the gauze padding used to cover margarito's knuckles. the commissioner felt the pad and agreed that it felt hard. that gauze pad was confiscated, and later found to be contaminated with elements not allowed on the gauze of a pro fighter's hand wraps.

martinez had only been boxing for a few years at that point. he started boxing @ 20. most guys who start boxing so late do nothing in the sport.
that margarito was able to beat martinez at that stage in his career means little, and certainly isn't evidence that he didn't try and load his gloves for the mosley fight.

After the Cotto fight Margarito was making tons of tv shows and he was being promoted as a boxing sensation here in Mexico.
I was also in a lot of interviews and he looked too relaxed, he didn't seem to be training hard as he did for Cotto.
I just have the feeling that he didn't trained hard enough, decided to cheat for that fight and it didn't work. In that fight he wasn't punching hard enough even though he had "plasters" (actually just some old padding, not bricks like some morons here think he had) and his workrate wasn't good enough either.
Also just check Margarito vs Cotto II, Margarito was already past his prime, especially after being suspended for a very long time, and even though Cotto was easily winning the fight you could see that Margarito was catching him up and landing more and more punches. At the moment of the stoppage the fight was already looking similar to the first fight, with Cotto gassing (as he always does) and Margarito closing the gap and landing more meaningful punches.
