Australia’s award-winning promoter and TV and Radio boxing show host Peter Maniatis believes that the fight against Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios “will be a massive test” for Manny Pacquiao when they clash at the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Macau on November 24.

Maniatis told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard “ if the fight took place three years ago it people would have said its a mismatch and Manny is going to be charged with manslaughter but because Pacquiao got knocked out in devastating fashion in his last fight (against Juan Manuel Marquez last December 8) it leaves a bit of a question mark. When people get knocked out do they come back better or do they come back worse, so we don’t know.”

I think it was at least possible for Manny to KO Floyd. He at least did have enough skill, punching power and speed. Perhaps he still does, as Floyd also did get older... Stranger things have happened in boxing - by a long shot

if the fight would have been made the first time (which floyd signed the contract) that was the only time i thought pacman could maybe give him a good go, it seems after that floyd got better and manny has declined, 2010 was the year to make that fight, 2011 was the last hope lol but canelo now seems to have almost as much as a chance as manny did then but canelos only advantage is his size and thats the only reason the fight is somewhat interesting
