Oh come on adamek is fighting that bum haha talk about being unknown. That sort of attitude about not being a draw is one of the reason boxing in this age stinks. All avoiding each other, pure disgrace and its even more disgraceful that hardcore fans like yourself are justifying it. And before you **** on about its prize fighting remember legacy > money.

I noticed that Cunningham was so well known and popular in his native land that he fought all his title fights, before and after his first fight with Adamek, in Germany. And that does not even take into account that the winner would have been Wlad's mandatory. I would think that in itself should have been enough to get at least one of those fights signed. After all isn't that what they all want, a shot at Wlad? Or is it all just bull5hit?Comment

Adamek was a warrior earlier in his career and I have a lot of respect for him. Dude has fought every single gatekeeper there is at heavyweight and to get in the ring with Vitali was madness.
Saying that, he is just stacking up money for retirement at this point. He isn't fighting any hungry young undefeated fighters or anything. He'll do what he has to do to get paid, but thats it.Comment

Jennings isn't remotely top 10. I have him at #20 and I think I'm being generous, I expect he'll be exposed the first time he fights a true top 20 HW. Chagaev used to be top 10, he hasn't fought anyone in the top 20 since 2011, and he lost that. I have him at #14 now. Fury chose Haye instead of Pulev, and few would say Pulev is more dangerous than Haye. I'm unaware of Haye avoiding Pulev (and I'm no Haye fan)That said, is Pulev avoided? Yes. I think the other poster was trying to say it was as much from Pulev not being a draw as anything. If it would have brought the hype and money Haye brought, I'm sure all of the above would have jumped at the chance to fight him. Otherwise, too much risk for too little reward.Comment

Good analysis. Adamek used to fight anyone. Now he realizes he's just about done and wants to avoid a loss until a good cash out fight comes his way.Adamek was a warrior earlier in his career and I have a lot of respect for him.
