  • Khan to add Al Haymon to his team?

Fight Hype is reporting that Amir Khan is wasting no time in replacing his former manager Asif Vali, and has turned to Al Haymon as a swift replacement.

He'll then join a long list of Golden Boy fighters who are managed by Al Haymon, including Floyd Mayweather and Devon Alexander. Potentially Khan's two next opponents.

Is it a wise move by Khan? Or will he become another overprotected fighter? Or is this another step on the road with regards to securing a Mayweather showdown next year?

Who knows. I think it's quite a smart move for him personally to be fair.

And quite a few people thought that when Lucas signed with Al that the Garcia-Matthysse fight wouldn't get made, so who knows.

It would probably make a fight with Floyd easier to make in the long run, only problem with that is that he keeps looking like **** soon as he steps in the ring.

It will probably be easier for him to fight Mayweather, and probably also easier for him to avoid the likes of Mathhysse I would think.

great move. That way haymon can go one on one with the fighters to make it easier for goldy to promote them.

Had uncle Al been manager, Khan would not have lost to Peterson.

Haymon's locking up anyone who might have any chance of fighting Mayweather.

If you are going to pay 10%, may as well pay it to s man with connections.
