I've been a backer of Fortuna and his management for putting him in very tough early with the choice of opponents but Fortuna is getting a little too arrogant. He should learn that if the KO comes, it comes but not to push for it too hard. Things can go wrong.
Yeah, I feel you on that but maybe it's a promotional thing. Perhaps, he feels that his fights alone are not bringing him enough exposure and this way maybe people will pay more attention? Is the only reason why I see him doing this because he never really hit me as the arrogant type but who knows I could be wrong....or perhaps, it's a stragedy to get in Franco's head. Either way it should be a good fight.

1 thing casual boxing fans love and that's exciting fights.
KO's make them wet. If you have a good KO record and promise a KO, people will want to watch
See that's the thing...in my opinion if I was Fortuna's team I would do the oppopsite of what Franco will be expecting in the first few rounds. They will be expecting for Fortuna to go all out and take him out. Instead he should box first and then BOOM when Franco is not expecting it go for the kill if he gets him hurt or whenever he gets an opening. But we shall see.
It all looks good on paper, but Fortuna needs savvy and conditioning to carry out that plan. Franco is a very experienced fighter, although mostly in the amateurs, and he's gone long before. Javier is a very promising fighter. He'll have more of my attention if he gets past Luis.
that's what hr should do imo... If he's trying to match him in the opening toinds, hr could get caught. Box smart... I need to watch Franco's loss
Franco got jobbed against Munoz. The fight is still on Youtube. (I tried embedding it for you, but it's not working for some reason.) Let me know what you think.

I was actually watching some of it before I stepped out this morning.
Hell, even looking at the boxrec scores looks messed up.
Fighting in the other dude's country... how do you lose a SD while winning 10 rounds on one card and dropping more than that on the others?

You know how it is, bro. I felt bad for Franco on that one. But they gave him the Abril treatment and offered him a title fight next against Dib. Luis went bonkers when he saw what his purse was gonna be and dropped out of the fight. Now he has a chance to redeem himself by derailing a hot fighter in Fortuna. Whatever happens, it should be a good FNF.
I'm up in the air with this... but I don't think it'll end by KO
If Fortuna can't KO Franco, it could end badly for Javier. Luis likes to fight. I can see a fading Fortuna getting hit a lot and possibly stopped in the late rounds.

I've been wrong before, but I strongly feel this is an easy pick to make, Franco leaves himself too open, even in the pocket Fortuna's power should be too much for Franco.
