I hear most of you saying it is dangerous for Fortuna to go for the KO but this is who he is. A power punching southpaw. From what I have seen so far Fortuna has never been a 'dum' fighter, he sets up his devastating KO's very well, he just needs the dedication in the conditioning department. Franco is the one who better watch out last time I checked guys who like to brawl with Fortuna usually get KTFO..

I will say that Fortuna's lack of weight discipline tells me that he fights for fun more then anything. I don't think he is at the point where he is really serious about his career, just some kid from the DR who can fight that fell into espn's hands..

Ok...I have heard this more than once about Fortuna's weight issues and I honestly cannot get my mind around this. No disrespect to you but what the hell are you talking about? I mean one fight where he end up being overweight by 6 ounces after he tried to loose weight and actually had more time to try and loose that but figured it was not worth it? So, that's what we are calling him having weight issues? And let's not forget where he went to train for that fight (trained in DR for the Zamudio fight) with a different trainer. I know ultimately he is responsible but I just think that we cannot take that and condemn him.

Anytime you lose a (interim)title on the scales it is embarrassing and unprofessional same thing with Broner, Except Broner could afford to do that Fortuna cost himself a easy title shot by not making weight that's a setback and Fortuna has had weight and shape problems for a couple of fights now not sure what you mean it was even pointed out by Atlas on FNF also he has never showed great stamina I just say he needs to dedicate himself more especially since he doesn't know English the only real promotion he will have is what he can do in the ring, he can't afford setbacks one loss and Fortuna is outta here.

Fortuna is the Matthysse of the featherweight division. I expect big things from him, very impressed so far...rugged, raw but dynamite no doubt.
