In a perfect world Beltran beats Burns and they bring Beltran-Crawford to MSG as an undercard so I can go see both guys.

Burns signed to fight Vasquez, MV pulled out of the fight.

Crawford is Burns's mandatory, he has to fight him at some point.

I could be wrong but from what i remember MV pulled out due to illness and Burns refused to reschedule. If thats was the case then obviously he wasn't big on fighting him in the first place.

Ricky Burns should avoid Terence Crawford at all costs as Ricky just does not have the skillset to even be competitive. Ricky is big but he is a very basic fighter who will be lucky to escape with his belt against Raymundo Beltran. And even though I am certain Beltran will humble Burns on Sept 7th, I also understand that unless Beltran knocks out Ricky Burns, there is no way he is winning a decision in Glasgow. Ricky Burns is going to have to make a decision on if he wants to be the best lightweight in the UK (which is like being the Best American Soccer Player) or a World Champion and come across the pond. I have a feeling Burns just wants to be the best in Glasgow.
