I'd be weary of going to Glasgow if i was Crawford. If he does, he better KO Burns.

Hearn basically said he doesn't intend to send Burns to MSG when the fight can be made in Glasgow. Crawford is Burns's mandatory.

People have to remember there is 2 sections at the Madison Square Garden location, the arena that holds 21,000 where Miguel Cotto or any big draws fight at or like the guy above said the theater which holds around 5000 fans.

Crawford is a bad matchup for him. He's better off fighting Miguel Vasquez.

Vasquez isn't a great match-up for him either, ditto Abril, they're all movers with a long reach.

Burns's style is more suited to Bogere, Figueroa, DeMarco or even Broner over those guys.

They were talking about January for Crawford v Burns at MSG, but judging by Hearn's comments I don't see the fight happening in NY.

Ricky Burns should avoid Terence Crawford at all costs as Ricky just does not have the skillset to even be competitive. Ricky is big but he is a very basic fighter who will be lucky to escape with his belt against Raymundo Beltran. And even though I am certain Beltran will humble Burns on Sept 7th, I also understand that unless Beltran knocks out Ricky Burns, there is no way he is winning a decision in Glasgow. Ricky Burns is going to have to make a decision on if he wants to be the best lightweight in the UK (which is like being the Best American Soccer Player) or a World Champion and come across the pond. I have a feeling Burns just wants to be the best in Glasgow.

Burns is already a World Champion, and if he goes across the pond it won't be to the US, the best lightweights are in Mexico and Cuba.
