Pac is very much prime. He looked his best ever in his last fight. Pacsters only say Manny is no longer prime as an excuse so they can sleep better at night.

Vintage style and maybe the excitement had people thinking this but.. he was definitely trained for that fight, but "it" just isn't there. I can tell by looking at him that he's aged a bit too much.

The real question is, How good are Manny's boxing skills and how far will they take him this late in the game.

If Manny gets knocked unconscious this time, his fans will truly be out of the sport. We will honor that day too. Not Pac's retirement, but Pac's fans retirement. I thought that they blew away, but you run into a few from time to time. The Klingon might have one more fight in him. I hope Pac actually wins.

TBD is the best answer that can be given.

Getting ktfo can certainly ruin a fighter, but it's not a certain case.. the only way to know is to see how he does after it happens.

I thought Pacquiao looked tremendous in the JMM fight... he looked sharp, fast, on his game, and he looked strong. He got caught, plain and simple... it was a perfectly timed, perfectly placed shot, and those kinds of shots will put anyone down. Not to mention, JMM doesn't suck.

Pac is still elite, prime, I doubt it, but close to it.

Power seems down, speed seems down, lateral movement seems down, you can definelty see his skill have declined. Prime manny stops Bradley, and would definelty destroy rios.
James, you digress a lot in your posts but I suppose you mean "regress". I think that if MannyP can bring the form he showed in Marquez 4 up to the KO, he'll do a serious job on Rios. if he's been affected, he should still win but it won't be easy.

                    I hope I didn't digress too much.

I don't think he's performed the same (aside from JMM IV, even then he wasn't as fast as 3 years ago) since Margarito.
His ultimate prime IMO is the Miguel Cotto fight. Physically and technically.

THe Mosley fight showed he was on the downward path. His decline is not rapid as shown in his last 2 fights.

a mentally primed Pacquiao wont let Mosley last 12 rounds like that.

a physically primed Pacquiao won let Tim Bradley throw more punches than him even if he is landing more accurately
