Paulie Malignaggi vs Adrien Broner - Who Won?

I had Paulie beating Broner by a couple of rounds in that fight - it was pretty clear cut win for Paulie in my eyes. He was much more active and made Broner look like the struggling Arthur Abraham vs Andre Dirrell or Carl Froch.

But who do you think won?

The fact that ****s are actually debating this outcome is ******ed in and of itself. Broner quite clearly won the bout, though it certainly wasn't anywhere near as impressive as people tended to believe it would be.

It wasn't a clear cut win at all - it was a split decision if you recall. I can't see how anyone could legitimately award that fight to Broner, he just wasn't active enough. Paulie was the active fighter all night, Broner was on his defense just like Alex Arthur. A different style of defense but still on defense.. what's the fundamental difference? Broner just wasn't active enough to claim a victory. His brief flurries within rounds didn't do enough to override Paulie's output. Paulie beat Broner in my eyes.

Paulie did better than expected, causing people to overreact. Well, that, and people look for reasons to hate Broner (as if he doesn't provide enough reason).
