Undefeated heavyweight contender Denis Boytsov (33-0, 26KOs) has signed a promotional contract with the biggest powerhouse in Europe, Sauerland Event. The General Manager of Sauerland, Chris Meyer, has advised BoxingScene.com that Boytsov will debut for the company in August or September.
Earlier this month Boytsov, 27-years-old, broke away from longtime promoter Universum, after a lengthy contractual dispute. He was being pursued by numerous promoter in Germany and abroad.
Boytsov was a top amateur before turning pro, winning the 2001 Cadet World Championship at Light Middleweight, 2002 Cadet World Championship at Heavyweight and in 2004 the Junior World Championship at super heavyweight. He finished his amateur run with a record of 115-15. [Click Here To Read More]
