Watching it on my computer now, thanks for the link man. Thurman's movement is underrated, yeah he's not someone who will out box the pure boxers, but he uses enough movement when needed.

I thought he was excellent, I would go as far as to say the US has a new boxing star.

        1. Chaves
        2. Chaves
        3. Chaves
        4. Thurman
        5. Thurman
        6. Thurman
        7. Chaves
        8. Thurman
        9. Thurman (10-8)
        10. KO

I thought he did well, he slugged it out early with diego but then pace himself a bit and box, he went to the body, got caught with good shots and took it well. he can be a bit wild though but i was more impress with his finishing, once he knew he had chaves hurt and down in the previous round he basically went in for the kill in the next round.

Thurman would body all those guys. This is a genuine welter with a strong chin, KO power and the ability to move and adjust.

I thought Chavez's game plan was the wrong one. He fought Thurman in the center of the ring, which is Thurman's territory, and never ventured to catch him on the ropes. The outcome might have been shorter for him but it's still a 50/50 gamble.

As much as I like Broner, gotta agree with this.

Same. Not only is he good but he knows this, yet he remains humble. He's a good kid with a lot of potential. Wish nothing but the best for Thurman and Chavez as well.
