It seems like you know boxing,,, so i cant understand why you cant see that hearns was tired as hell.... SRL landed hard shots,, hearns had no more energy to recover from those shots,,, SRL won it fair and square...
I think we are squabbling over tedious things.

It has nothing to do with him being gassed and leaving his hands down. That's how he fights and that's why his jab is so snapping, because it is usually being pumped from the waist in an upward motion.

it was such a grueling battle, that hearns had nothing left when srl caught him in the 13th...

Not dis*****g that SRL bombed on him,, how come SRL didnt just bomb on him in the first 4 rounds or in rounds 10,11,12... He landed good shots on hearns throughout the fight...... Hearns landed shots on him,,, it was a war of attrition and SRL won......
There have been countless interviews with emmanual saying that tommy's legs were no good, probably just an excuse, but you guys acting like tommy took one shot and was out,,,
Hearns wasnt even down when it was stopped,,,,,,, Hearns was just done,,,, he had nothing left,,,
this wasnt like a hagler or barkley stoppage,,,
