No what happened is Hearns got hit with his hands down like he usually did, in the 12th or 13th and never recovered. Had nothing to do with him gassing. He was boxing fine and then got caught and was finished after that.

SRL didnt even knock him down when it was stopped,, hearns was exhausted and gottne beaten up by SRL..
He didnt catch him in the 12th,,, that was all hearns, and after the round was when SRL corner told him "your blowing it kid" and he came out in the 13th and fought his heart outm and yes he did catch hearns with his hands down,, i agree with you,, hearns defense was never great and always got caught with hands down,, but he was totally gassed in the 14th, dude could hardly stand, he couldnt match SRL pace at that point and SRL bombed him out,,

Not dis*****g that SRL bombed on him,, how come SRL didnt just bomb on him in the first 4 rounds or in rounds 10,11,12... He landed good shots on hearns throughout the fight...... Hearns landed shots on him,,, it was a war of attrition and SRL won......
There have been countless interviews with emmanual saying that tommy's legs were no good, probably just an excuse, but you guys acting like tommy took one shot and was out,,,

hearns was obviously exhausted in what was a grueling fight. not sure how anyone can debate that
