The thing that blows my mind, is usually when comparing 2 fighters from different era's, you're going under the assumption that both guys thoroughly dominated their own era's.

Baldomir is not Margarito...Guerrero is not Pacquiao...it's not the same

I have to say...I'm truly, truly baffled as to how you people defend Floyd. Boxing fans still hold the fact that Leonard didn't fight Aaron Pryor back in the days against Leonard, when there are legit excuses as to why that fight never took place...that's one guy...

But when you have a guy like Floyd who missed maybe 10 fighters he should have fought, how do you even excuse that? Name me ONE other "ATG" in history, who missed 8-10 fighters that the public clamored for a fight for, and didn't happen, and is still considered an ATG.

Most of these posters dont know who DeJesus or Laing was.

Floyd is lucky he's even in this conversation. He'd have done slightly better than Floyd Sr. did in that era...
So are we comparing the Floyd who fought Castillo to the invincible lw Duran or are we comparing the Duran that lost to DeJesus to the Floyd who filled out at lw after the NDou fight. Let me guess.

Which alt are you? You clowns always try to say, "you people", and are the first to cry bigotry when it's is used towards you and you always use alts when you can never get a Floyd fan to agree with your pathetic lunacy.

It's fine if you don't want to debate the styles of Floyd and Duran, but to use Pac as some sort or moral comfort when he got ktfo by a man Floyd easily beat is damn near phenomenal.

Like one guy turning down a career high purse for an opportunity that he had done nothing to earn. But knowing that fact would require actual research and not slanted revisionism.

lol WHO turned down a career high purse?

Oh! You mean Floyd, who sabotaged his chance to earn $100mil+, if he would have simply gone under the original terms of 50-50 with Pac, but instead decided to price his own self out of the fight?

Pac literally fell into that punch...now you tell me if Floyd would fight a guy 4 times that gave him the type of trouble Marquez did.

The King of Handpicked Fights would never do that...

His days of taking risks were over with the Corrales/Castillo fights...it's all been the easiest guy for the most money since then...
