529 replies and counting and no one has backed Duran's claims with anything noteworthy other than ****** one-liners from the usual simpletons.

Honestly, I can't see why Floyd Mayweather Jr. shouldn't be able to beat Duran the way Leonard beat him. Floyd has the height, reach and speed advantage + better technique.

Watch Duran's fights. He gets easily frustrated when not being able to hit the target. Floyd would make him miss all night and counter his slow ass. I like Duran, he's on my personal top 10 list but he's reaching here. Tries to stay relevant but he's three decades behind.

Nobody wants to remember your silly comeback years Roberto. Just stay silent.

      Duran

Duran is 100% Correct. Mayweather would not have been a force back then.

Was Duran high off coke when he said this?

Floyd at 130, 135, 140 and 147 and hell even for some elites at 154 he wouldve been a hell of a matchup for ANY fighter. The **** wrong with you posters and Roberto for that matter.

Mayweathers resume would actually be better (he'd not fight at 147, maybe not even 140).
He'd give Duran a tough fight, also most other from 130-140. He'd not be undefeated, but have a much more steller resume. I could see him beating Pryor.

1st-Can't believe how many boxing fans, really don't know about boxing more than the past 5 years.

Duran is possibly the best lightweight in history, and possibly top 5 in history.

2nd-If Mayweather managed to find a way to duck, dodge, and maneuver around fighting guys like Casamayor, Freitas, Johnston, Tszyu, P. Williams, Mosley (at Lightweight), Margarito, Cotto in 2008, and Pac (2009-present), how in the h-ll do you expect him to fight killers like Duran, Hearns, Leonard, and Pryor lmao!!!

3rd-Duran was PAST his prime when he handed Leonard his first loss. In the rematch, it was a CLOSE fight, before Leonard's antics caused Duran to quit. Stop showing your ignorance and watch these fights before commenting.

4th-Mayweather is GREAT defensively, but he did lose to Castillo, and was losing until Delahoya stopped jabbing. No idea why he stopped jabbing, but it wasn't because of any adjustment Floyd made.

Boxing has the worst fans because not only are 90% of you deluded, you talk about things you have no clue about.

I bet you all think Lebron James is the best basketball player ever too...
