u dont have to agree with duran but some of the ******ed comments being made about him are quite ridiculous. he was a great fighter. arguably the greatest fighter of that era. he fought in a better era for sure. but floyd would have been something special in any era imo. but none of that really matters, its all opinions but there are two facts that remain. floyd is one of the greatest fighters of this era and duran is one of the greatest fighters of his era.

I will give you plenty of time to reserch what a lot of real fight fans already know. A lot of fighters avoided the hawk. He had thunder in both hands, ko power with many different punches and he could box really good. Many top fighters ducked the hawk with very good reason.

I don't need the opinion of Duran to formulate my own opinion ,
I believe that Mayweather would beat Pacquiao , I believe he is a very good boxer , but not special , he is super star just because of the **** state of american boxing scene , he doesn't have any charisma out of the ring , his style in the ring isn't for everyone to watch , good defense but still not perfected it , he would have been crushed in the era of Duran , Pryor and arguello .

Mayweather is a very good boxer , but never being all-time top 20

He is top 30-50 P4P, and top 15-20 welterweights
Pacquiao still higher than him , may be top 20-30

It's true. I've been saying it for years, and most on here don't listen. To any serious posters out there, who actually come here to discuss boxing and not troll or bait and wallow in ignorance, don't listen or respond to "floyd fans" who claim his unmatched greatness, chances are I am a bigger floyd fan than them and I am the first to tell you outside of this era he isn't anything special. It has to do with the state of the sport, and young children and or non-knowledgeable fans won't understand this.

Personally i would never refer to duran as a coward. I respect his accomplishments inside the ring. I love boxing but imo everyone is entitled to their opinion without being called names. If you get called out you can respond in any way you like.
