If Floyd fought in Durans era with his style right now, I think Floyd would still be dominant because his style is advanced even for today's era. I do agree that there were more competition in Duran's era.
Any specifics? Not sure what you mean by 'yesterday.' How long have you been following fights?

Luv you Floyd haters. Have absolutely no idea what greatness you're witnessing right now, but you will down the road.
I had Floyd winning a close decision.

Dude nobody ranks your value here as a poster anyway the moment you revealed you were a 45 year old Flowmo.

I don't know whether to agree or disagree with Duran because It's just fantasy talk, but with that said I think a 36 yo Mayweather beats a 36 yo Duran 9 times out of 10!

I disagree I grew up in all those guys I like them all he still would have been elite but not undefeated ...I definitely think he beats Duran...I agree with Hoya either it was a draw or floyd won I can see that but Castillo lost first and second fight put an end to speculation. Heavens because of style and arm length maybe. Sugar ray my fav WOULD have been incredible I see it going either way haggler I fought because of his defense..I know he beat yearns but styles make fights FLOYD IS A ALL TIME GREAT TOP 4

Duran gave Canelo the best advice thus far as to how to beat Floyd. He told him: Punch him on the shoulders, elbows, arms, body, etc. Dont worry about the head. Break down his body. Dont try and box with him. Just maul him.

In a 15 round fight that's not a very wide margin of victory at all.

Just because you're old enough to have seen it live on TV doesn't mean you know how to score it.

Look, Jr., hopefully you'd agree that SRL had all the momentum and obviously had Duran flustered because SRL was popping him at will and mocking him, and Duran couldn't get to SRL. THIS IS WHY DURAN QUIT. QUIT. WHO QUITS?

Now, get your mouth off your mama's titty and get back over to youtube and watch again and come back here and apologize.

But throwing bs punches at Floyd's shoulders and arms, will get you countered and beat up really bad. Duran isnt the first one who thought of that plan. Even when Ortiz tried to throw at Floyd's shoulder, Floyd would tilt his arm, causing the punches to glance off and not really land solid. I really dont know how to beat Floyd if I really thought about it. The gameplan has already been thought of and failed once too many times.
