Honestly, I can't see why Floyd Mayweather Jr. shouldn't be able to beat Duran the way Leonard beat him. Floyd has the height, reach and speed advantage + better technique.

Watch Duran's fights. He gets easily frustrated when not being able to hit the target. Floyd would make him miss all night and counter his slow ass. I like Duran, he's on my personal top 10 list but he's reaching here. Tries to stay relevant but he's three decades behind.

To be fair, both floyd and manny are to blame,,, both were making too much $$$ fighting other fighters,,,,

I thought the fight would have been made when JMM outboxed manny in the 3rd fight,, manny looked to be slowing alittle bit,,

honestly those guys had from 2009 to 2012 to make this fight,,, they just waited too long, neither camp wanted to take the risk, it didnt have to do with manny getting ko'd... fight wasnt happening,,, both are too blame, its not like the lewis/bowe saga where bowe totally dodged lewis,,, these guys both dodged each other...
Now add in the showtime/hbo alliances and this fight wont happen anytime soon...

I still think it gets made, but it will be after floyd and manny are both no longer on top of their games,,, it will be like holyfield tyson or tyson/lewis.. those fights took years to make and when they happened it was a past prime of each guy

At the time, knowing how much Floyd LOVES money, and $9mil being a ton of money for him, if I'm as confident as Floyd about my skills, I take the $9mil.

Problem is, the risk wasn't worth the reward...

hey, it's paying off for Floyd now...he's making $32mil minimum a fight, whereas if he fought all the guys I mentioned, he'd have taken his lumps and probably been retired now...or at the very least, not undefeated...
