Did you by chance hear the last one? Floyd said "if Pac wants the fight, he has to leave Arum and sign with Mayweather Promotions"...so even a fight with a guy who's a shell of himself, which could still make him more money than any fight out there, is still not "safe" enough for him to just take and make tens of millions off of...
Keep making excuses...by the way, you REALLY think Floyd would fight Duran or Hearns if they were around!? hahahahahahahaha

You guys keep using that testing excuse but it only works for 2009...what happened in 2010 and 2011 when they negotiatied the fight again???

Everything that needed to be said was said during the 1st negos and if you think he agreed then you are just dumb.
Nice to see we got a new troll on NSB welcome.

2. The first negotiation, everyone from their brother to their uncle in the boxing biz said Pac should tell Floyd to f-ck himself. It wasn't a legit concern, it was more like "I'm accusing you of cheating, here's what we're going to do"...an A-side can't do that to another A-side. Besides, why even discuss this, the fight could have happened in 2010 and 2011-2 other times they negotiated, but $100mil wasn't enough for Floyd, he wanted EVERYTHING aside from $40 mil lol...wait, why didn't it happen again??
3. Again, never posted on here. But you're doing a great job of convincing me there's at least one other person on this forum that has some common sense and knowledge about boxing, aside from myself.
4. Take your blinders off. Could you imagine looking back at Sugar Ray Robinson's career and seeing him miss 10 legit challenges, pricing himself out of fights, and maneuvering around opponents?
5. Floyd has ATG talent, but it's not in his make up to go after legit challenges and take risks...he'd rather play it safe, which has worked out great at $32mil a fight minimum, but to be called the best in even THIS era without proving it is a joke...

If Margs is telling truth, that explains 2010 and it means all the bluster from Team Pac is BS. Margs isn't the most honest guy on the planet but even you have to admit its fishy.

Boxing fans still hold the fact that Leonard didn't fight Aaron Pryor back in the days against Leonard, when there are legit excuses as to why that fight never took place...that's one guy...
But when you have a guy like Floyd who missed maybe 10 fighters he should have fought, how do you even excuse that? Name me ONE other "ATG" in history, who missed 8-10 fighters that the public clamored for a fight for, and didn't happen, and is still considered an ATG.
But as a pro athlete, he's a product of this generation's Business of Boxing in which a "celebrity" can attain belts and earn more money on safer fights. I suspect this will tarnish Floyd's legacy.
All I know for sure is that back then if Floyd was all about big money, he would've had to step to it against the best. And IMO, faced with Duran and his contemporaries, he would've been beaten once or twice, maybe even three times.
