Duran is correct, and not hating. The type of fighting that Floyd JR. employs was very relevant in those times. ( the shoulder roll is one of the oldest types of defense that has been lost for a while, until Floyd brought it back. If you look at the old boxers, they are all using it. ). The ****ers like Duran were used to tha style, and knew how to beat it. If you look at the fighters of that, and earlier era's, They were non stop. They never took a break, and would never let Floyd, nor any other guy pot shot, and fight only when he felt like it. They would be forced to fight all 3 minutes of every round. I think Floyd Jr would be a good fighter in any era, but just good. I honestly don't think he is better than His own Dad, and While Floyd SR was very good, He was nowhere near the best, and got beat bad by SRL, and would have also been beaten by any of the top 10 fighters of the day if He stayed with it. In my opinion Floyd JR. Would fare about the same, or worse. Take a look at Floyd Sr. vs SRL, or any Floyd SR. fight and you'll see that He was probably better than his Son.Comment

Yeah, yeah and Mayweather will say the same kind of thing about whoever is dominating twenty years from now. Nothing to talk about because most of the great fighters say that about the next generations.Comment
