If Judah and Alexander did well enough to get themselves split decision victories (albeit robberies) then you know that Floyd will do it even better and reduce Matthysse to a stumbling mess, like Guerrero.

I know the hype is on Matthysse like GGG, but if one wants Floyd challenged, this guy isn't it. I still haven't seen him destroy a Black boxer yet. Not even Zab Judah who is known to get KTFO.
Who cares about race? Skills pay the bills not skin color or ethnic background. lol.

Lamont Peterson (TKO3), Dallas Jr. (KO1), Olusegun (TKO10), Corley (TKO8), Vivian Harris (TKO4) were all of 'Black boxers'...

There is absolutely no reason why this fight shouldn't taken place, and nobody can dispute the fact that Karass has truly earned a shot at Mayweather. Would be nice to see Mayweather actually fight a real Mexican who isn't a complete and utter fetus like Floyd's next opponent.

Just watch Floyd duck this fight and later on in the year we'll have an article posted on this site titled: 'Mayweather vs Figueroa: The Experts Give Their Take' with the ghost of Manny Steward predicting it to be a "close, pick em' sort of fight" and Roberto Duran waxing fantastic about the time he moved up in weight and quit against Pat Lawlor.

If Mayweather fights Karass now it would be a joke. I don't think the last two guys that beat Berto deserved a shot at Mayweather either. But easy fights pay the same when you are Mayweather.

Slick black boxers equivalent to Floyd. Peterson wasn't it.

                Judah and Alexander were.

Not a problem...it didnt hinder Ortiz in anyway, he still got his shot.

Very true, but you must give some of the credit to Berto's injured shoulder. Soto-Karass was getting hit flush and stung by a one armed man. But I'd like to see him in there with Gerrero or Ortiz.
