There is one small component missing to this fight happening. THE WBC Welterweight Title was not on the line.

If Matthysee KO's Garcia in shocking fashion like he has been other fighters recently, other than Pac, there isn't a bigger fight out there for Floyd, imo. Sergio is old now and too beat up, and Khan is a clown, and who else?

It's about perception and of course the box office, and considering 2 million people or so are about to watch Matthysee vs. Garcia, a big KO by Matthysee or by Garcia will totally sell Floyd's next fight...which is what Floyd makes all of his decisions on.
