    An interesting note that I heard from a friend of mine who is a boxing writer is that Arakawa was actually considering retiring before this fight with Figueroa. If he had done that, we obviously wouldn't be talking about him today.

    Hopefully the reception and appreciation he got from the fans in San Antonio make him reconsider retiring.
