The government needs to get Arakawa's DNA so we can make super humans that can't be hurt. That was one of the biggest beatings I've seen a guy take who only came back stronger, I was actually hoping they stopped it after the 8th because I didn't want the guy to die.

Major respect to this half Kamikaze half Samurai warrior.

I challenge anyone to come up with a better 3 fights on one card...ever? Not saying it doesn't exist, but I'm not aware of them.
      Mayweathers last card beats it.

Maidana lopez card was more exciting

thats just within a few months I can think of lol

I still haven't seen this fight but reading my twitter timeline during it, sounds like this guy is a total badass.

During the fight I was thinking how crazy a fight between him and katsidis would be

I don't think Maidana-Lopez was better. Lara v. Angulo and Maidana v. Lopez were great but that other fight on the undercard...I think it was Charlo v. Bernard Hopkins' nephew was boring as all hell. Pretty sure he was saying all three fights were more action packed than cards of recent memory.

After the 8th round I just felt so bad for him. He still kept landing on Figueroa but his pitty pat punches didn't do any damage. True warrior. Props to both men. This was a great test for Figueroa who's used to taking guys out fairly easily. I hope it didn't take much out of his young career but I'm sure that took off a year or two from it.

It's crazy how he kept smiling at the end of each round. Every time you thought he was through he kept coming. Both of them showed heart. There are times Figueroa seemed like he would quit from sheer exhaustion but gutted it out himself. 3 great bouts. Either outcome from the 3 fights would have been fine by me.

Yeah even the ither two fights were decent (Anthony Direll ones)

Thurman stepped up, I had him losing that fight I would love to see Chaves again. Supposedly he had a long layoff? Fatigue seemed to defeat him and those two brutal body blows. Thurman and Chaves look huge at 147!! That second body blow finished him off not the headshot. These guys have some beards on em i hope Chaves made a good enough impression to be back (would love to see him at Garcia's gym :/ .

Ward if it was a legit injury I have to give it to him he fought on and was tagging Karass and making it a fight...with one arm lol. Whats worse? Going life and death vs Berto with one arm or...the fact Karass couldnt put a definitive beating lol.
