Do you sometimes get 'punch fatigue' from too many punches being thrown in a fight?

Take this Figueroa jr Vs Arakawa fight for example. So many punches are being thrown that you stop paying attention. It's like how many rallies can these guys have before someone is down and out. It's almost as if you'd rather prefer a slow-paced fight where any punch or combination being thrown can at least be an eye-catching finisher type punch..

It's the equivalent to a Pron movie with some girl on top and this aggressive male hunk thunder clapping his nuts into her vag, full power, for almost the entire movie without letting her ride it nice and smoothly. It's like, if you're not gonna let her show off her moves, just cum already and get it over with.

Definitely. You're wondering when the **** one of those punches will end it, and when they never do, like you said you get punch fatigue.

The fight was great don't get me wrong, but I was bored at several points. As you said, you're waiting for the KO to happen but when it doesn't you begin to switch off. The most exciting fights need variation.

Exactly. You know it's almost as if you can't say anything bad about these type of fights and just kowtow in line to the 'barnburner' aspect of it, because nobody ran or boxed circles around the other guy. Well, I don't think so.

I feel the same way. I actually fell asleep on Alvarado-Rios 2.

Now you see, Berto Vs Karass also has a similar component to it, except its a bit different. Berto's vulnerability + his physique and athletic way of punching + Karass' come forward style, makes the fight aesthetically pleasing.

Now, if it was Karass Vs Karass, we'd have the same problem on our hands as Figueroa Vs Arakawa.

I was zoned out by round 8, because it became clear to me that Arakawa was a tough SOB and Figueroa didn't have the power/energy to finish him. Tonight was too much boxing lol
