Come on!! when he had to defend the latino title he had trouble in both fights...against Goncalo and Weis... I was there for both fights, no-one told me about it....then it took him 9 round to beat Flores....

Iīm not hating on nobody...All Iīm saying is that people donīt need to blow this Thurman win out of proportion because Chaves is not as good as his record says he is...and I said that he even had trouble while fighting bumbs...I even mentioned the fights..

you are right juan. I give chaves credit though he fought very good despite having bad training his corner was horrible and no money behind him. which is not so good news for Thurman. isn't it something when you just tell the truth you are a hater like if I said it was raining a lot does that mean I hate water? lol

The fight we analyze in this thread is the one that happened yesterday. And Chaves proved he can fight at the world stage. Your reasoning is totally wrong, because you try to prove Chaves is not a good fighter by saying that Thurman is not that good.

Good peformance from Thurman. Definitely has a lot to work on though. Loads up way too much, very open for punches, needs to set up his punches more.

That said, he's a good fighter. Good power, good counterpunches, solid chin from what I've seen. BIG Welterweight too.

I'd like to see him fight one of the top guys now.

he can fight FOR 3 ROUNDS againts an average fighter...Thurman is an average fighter with a lot of flaws in his game....and Chaves didnt even make it to the scorecards.....do your homework boy!

sorry I used wrong quote. the reason chaves gassed out a little is there is no money behind him like Thurman. he was supposed to lose and almost won

He didn't gas out until he got hit to the body. Maidana, Matthyse...they will all get exposed by body shots soon enough.
