The only reason HBO don`t want to deal with Rigo is because he schooled Donaire-who HBO was trying to build as the next Pacquiao.And HBO did not kick Floyd out;Floyd left for Showtime`s bigger money offer,and Jim Lampley already said he was sad that Floyd left HBO.

HBO is a showcase if Ward needs a tune up then let him run a local where he is and shake off the rust in a local 10 rounder! It doesn't have to be televised, all the champs from the past fought non titled bouts after an injury layoff so why not now?
I agree with this.
He can pick whoever he wants for a tuneup just do it off HBO. I'm sure he can get a sizeable crowd in Oakland regardless.
