If Lomachenko isn't the best of all time, i'm calling him a hype job

lomachenko has insane skills. he's like duran.

He's not remotely like Duran. Not at all. Wait until he has at least one pro fight before comparing him with a top ten ATG.

He hasn't even fought a 6 round fight yet. Not even going into the fact that his style isn't at all like Duran's, in the slightest little bit, but comparing him to Duran is just nonsensical.

Anyway, the hype is insane. I'm going to be the first to say that I have a bad feeling he is a knock out waiting to happen. He has some flaws that will get him KO'd in the pro game. Hopefully those get ironed out before he gets into it, because he has great talent and should make a decent champion.

As it stands, he won't become an ATG. I guarantee it. An excellent champion, yes, but I see him and his style having some clear trouble in the pros against certain fighters.

Obviously it all comes down to opponents. He might not ever have a great fighter to go against, which would suck, but we'll see.

He'll dominate up to the championship level and then start struggling with some specific styles, and probably get KO'd by them. That's my prediction so far.

Hopefully I'm wrong though, because I really dig him as a person. Seems very cool. Let's also hope he has a good chin.

I'm not trying to act tough. It's just basic physics. A 120lb man isn't going to be able to ko a 210lb man. I can curl more then he ways.

Dudes move up 1 weight class and their punches have less effect. Move up 90 lbs, and see what effect his punches have. It's laughable to me. Again, not trying to be a bad ass, but that's just the way it is. Ive played sports all my life. Football being one of them. Quick little explosive guys that way 160-170, and they get steamrolled easily.

The hype over this guy is absoloutley insane, i've seen people saying that right now he'd beat Pacquiao from the Hatton fight, i've seen them saying he's the best all the way up to 140 without setting foot in a pro ring.

I've seen them say he's the best amateur ever.

Talk about setting your sights high. I don't think it's possible for him to live up to the expectation.
