      It's a tax issue.

      I don't blame him.

Less than 1% of those will buy a ticket, so what's it to th remaining 99+%?

You're right, taxes are probably the biggest part, but there's more. For one Macau is much more accessible to Pac's Phil fanbase, why not reward those guys? Plus the whole China thing, it could be very profitable beyond the taxes. Best case scenario he establishes himself in China as a star. If not, he takes of a cut of the profits driven by Shiming

Pac is done anyway, and I mean that with the sincerest respect. I wish Pacquiao well regardless. As much as I went in on him basically over his fans, he was great for the sport. Nobody wants to see Pac here in America like we used to. Take him home Arum, and I don't mean that literally.

he's still the #2 ppv seller in the sport despite the bad loss, so looks like America is a little bigger than you think

but are you ready to explain how it's mathematically impossible for Sho to lose 12m on the ppv? It's been a few days, the calculation should be complete Prof Ducketts

              Less then 1%?

Do you even live out here?

When I say a "contingent", I'm not talking about a small group of people from Mar's.

Bay Area, So Cal, shit even up here in my neck of the woods. There are about 1.7 million people from the Manny-land over here. Not the country. This state.

That "1%" has a lot of disposable income.

It's easier flying or catching a limo to Vegas, then having to get a passport.

              Like I said, I don't blame him.

win, lose, or draw, he should retire after Rios
he used his last great effort up in the 4th Marquez fight
woulda liked to see him win, but he got taken out, and it's over now
his past few performances didn't look good, he was clearly declining
got mixed feelings about the Rios fight, but it's already on
hoping he wins and goes out
if Pac can't beat the best guys anymore there's no point

Pac used to be #2 ppv wise. Now it's just Floyd and nobody else really. I don't care whether I have to pay for a ppv or not. I watch fights.

Anyway, there is no explanation. SHO lost 12 mil, and you confirmed it with your lies, I mean theory/guess or whatever you said, so why give YOU an explanation of something everyone else here knows. Do you want to learn about the ppv business?

Of those 1.7m in the Bay Area, how many have seen him fight live? Not very many, most will purchase the PPV at the same regular time whether it's in Macau or Nevada. And of the few that went to see him live, are they really getting slapped in the face? Seems a little overemotional, especially from someone who does not belong in that group and tends to hate on it.

Maybe there's only room for one boxer in your heart, but PPV rankings don't work like that at all. There is a #2, #3, etc. There can be dispute of course, except in this case there's none really.

You were saying it was mathematically impossible to have lost that much, a real strong statement. Back it up
