No matter how Floydie sr talked tons of demeaning Pac, and Pac continued his down-sliding, one thing and only one thing is for sure that could not be deny over time, that Floyd Jr refused to fight Pac while in his prime and on the top of the world. Whatever Floyd excuses today will become completely irrelevant over years! Both of them will go down to just history but no one could tell who the best was between the regarded two top best boxers because both refused to collide while it had the chance!

And, Pac declined a career high of 40 million coming off a loss. It's only becoming more obvious to the masses now that Pac is willing to do random blood and urine testing all the way up to the fight, Something he had countless excuses as to why he couldn't do before, when the fight was all but signed sealed and delivered. The tables have already turned my friend. Right or wrong, many people were recognizing Pac as the greater fighter & best fighter of the era. With each fight, that is changing more and more opinions. Who has more in the tank, Pac or May? Who will look better in successive fight? Who will fight the tougher competition & better names? Things don't look good for Pac coming out as the better fight or higher as an all time great. Not looking good at all! Pac's best best is to win the fight w/Rios and then do WHATEVERit takes to make the Mayweather fights in hope that he will somehow land a "lucky punch" and turn this sinking ships fortunes around, otherwise...............

SRR fought for both the welter weight and middle weight titles and had several losses but is held in the highest esteem over little scardy JR

At least there are presently 3 threats at Jr's weight that he has not faced:
Canelo
GGG
PAC

There may be one on his undercard that is 7 pounds smaller that may give him a scard round if he beats GARCIA of which I believe Lucas will and by KO

is to expose his hype over the past 8 years !

HE has wiggled and wormed his way over the past 8 years Ducking and retiring while fighters beat each other to death then comes out like the shinning star beating warriors that are faded worn and no longer in the lime light while JR lifts himself up like he has done something.

I'm sure they asked Sr about the Pacquiao/Rios fight like they always ask each camp about the other. I'm sure he was was saying those things to remind people that Jr is the one headlining one of the best cards we've seen in years. Pacquiao is taking his business to Macau. How you stay relevant fighting in Macau is yet to be seen. Pacquiao's relevance and skills are in quick decline. His fans are trying to delay reality by reminding everyone that the fight between him and Mayweather didn't take place and of course it's because their guy did everything to make the fight happen but the other guy was scared. Most people know there is no truth to that but some people will believe anything if your heart is in the wrong place.

The sad news is, 50 years from now, the media and probably casual boxing fans, will probably only remember how Pacquiao tore through the ranks while Floyd ducked Pacquiao.

Time will be even kinder to Pacquiao because no one really expected much from him from the start and overachieved, while Floyd, arguably the best fighter ever, will probably be thought of as someone who underachieved because he never fought Pacquiao. Everyone fought Pacquiao, except for Floyd.

Floyd could have beat him easily too. But he didn't want to find out.
