Khan would give floyd the most problems...

Honestly floyd has never fought a fighter with similar speed and boxing abilities..

    Generao
    manfredy
    diego
    JLC
    famoso
    chavez
    chop-chop
    gatti
    baldmor
    old oscar
    hatton
    jmm
    old shane
    ortiz
    cotto
    ghost
    Canelo

All pretty much slow plodders,,, Zab the only guy i can think that could match speed and he was winning early.... I think speed may give floyd trouble but he just have never seen him in with a fast handed boxer....
Notice how there is no frietas, johnston, casamoyer, manny on his resume...
Honestly floyd has never really fought another quick boxer.. Might be his kryptonite

Neither would because of their styles, but if I had to chose it would be Garcia because Garcia can box. Khan can't jump in on Floyd throw a quick combo and either try to hold Floyd's head down, clinch, or jump away. That won't beat Floyd.

Garcia. He would have a puncher's chance and his chin isn't made of glass.

Plus he beat Khan in a head to head matchup. He's just plain better.

You forgot to put as a choice neither.

One is chinless and the other is too slow for him.

            Neither fight brings a challenge

              Faster, possibly.

Better offensive fighter? No, not at all.

I'm not so sure he'd be held that highly but he would be a problem that's for sure.

Mayweather even seemed to start off slow, he probably put the pedal to the metal after the first four, not judah gassing. These four imaginary rounds i had in mind was key factor in my prediction, further study is needed.
It does show something for the Canelo fight though, Floyd takes 2-3 rounds to get into his rhythm. Alvarez needs to strike early.

                We disagree on both points.

I honestly dont see Alvarez posing much of a threat to Mayweather. He brings nothing unique to the table, hes bigger and punches hard, but i really think he is too slow to really bother May, i really like the fight though. But yeah, you are right, alvarez needs the early rounds, theres no way of winning if he slips half of the first six imo. Unless he scores a ko, which i cant see at all.

I actually think an early KO is his only hope. He can do it imo, but not if he stands and tries to counter-punch like he usually does. I don't see Alvarez winning on points, he has to hurt Mayweather.

I agree completely. It has to come early, when he gets frustrated and perhaps tired late in the fight, floyd will have won before the final bell. I really just dont see him testing Mayweathers chin other than an occationally jab and punches thats slipping off the head of May. But I still cant wait, Alvarez is an underrated boxer, but he needs to do something else to stand a chance. I dont know what he can do. Hes just a tad too slow.
