This guy on NBC fight night! He wont get a fight with GGG. He needs to win ESPN FNF to be considered. Everyone knows that

Well, they are certainly a bigger challenge than Ishida was.

And more importantly they are willing to fight him. If it's true that everyone is else is ducking him then why not accept matchups with people who are calling him out?

Everyone hating on stevens but i kinda like this fight... would be an entertaining stay-busy fight for GGG.. Stevens can crack so it would test GGG's chin....
Stevens has too impress vs saul roman, and make quick work,,,
GGG v Stevens is a better fight than him and Ishida

because he wants to fight on HBO (and HBO won't approve scrubs).

If these are and were easy fights than believe HBO would make them, because they are investing heavy and buliding GGG's brand. Macklin, proska, ishiba, and rosado where easy fights thats why they where made. Guys will bring up Stevens 3 loses, but all those where @ 168-175 guys bigger than him. Stevens is a heavy handed skilled boxer/puncher, whom can brawl and he's hard the hit with his cross arm/philly shell defense. He was undefeated and still is @ 160, until he ventured up to those weights. Reminds me of Abraham figthing @ 168. Now Mora is a skilled boxer, whom defense is very good, with excellent footwork, and a very good counter puncher. But since both of the guys are garbage and doesn't deserve a payday vs GGG, coming form the posters on here. We'll never see the gights. Stevens & Mora are high risk fights with low rewards for GGG
They have been by Abel Sanchez, Golovkin's trainer. He said HBO turned them down. They won't entertain lower level fighters for Golovkin because he's not (or wasn't) a big enough A-side. (this was an interview he gave in June).

Maybe that situation has changed after the Macklin fight, we shall see.

So who is he going to fight then? Martin Murray already **** tucked. Quillin is with a different network. Geale probably wants to milk his title after he beats Darren Barker.

Felix Sturm? That guy won't come near GGG in a million years.

Mora and Stevens are good options. Even if he has to fight them off HBO.

He could fight them both in the same night, that might create some interest.

I wonder if HBO won't take it, if NBC Sports would offer.
I doubt they would have any money though.
