It wouldn't be an upset. Thompson is a highclass fighter, he's just not " exciting" and very underestimated.

Will pulev's inactivity hurt him? Will thompson's wins over price give him the momentum he needs to get a third shot with a win over pulev? Thompson beating pulev is not an upset in my opinion.

Pulev looks the real deal but dimitrenko & ustinov are not top tier HWs. Thompson is better then both & will be the toughest guy pulev has faced yet. Helenius had huge momentum & was looking to be a contender until chisora fight. He's been hurt on & off since. Pulev is at the same point in his career as helenius was in

Yet he hasn't beaten a top 10 fighter I'm his entire career. Thompson Is not high class or underestimated, everyone around him just sucks. Pulev should give him a bad Beating

Thompson has had issues getting big fights fot most of his career... The interview following the price fight was probably the most entertaining part of his career. I just wonder why the IBF doesn't just make pulev the mandatory. Twice chambers dropped out against thompson & they just made him mandatory. Pulev had adamek, jennings, fury all turn down fights so the IBF should have just appointed him the mandatory. Thompson shouldn't be in the eliminator in my opinion.

thompson is so overrated. he beats a chinny bum twice and now he's a legit contender? last i checked he's still a slow, fat, pillow punching 41 year old who totally came to lose against wlad in the rematch.

thompson got 2 title shots against wlad without beating anyone in the top 10. i would say he's pretty damn lucky. usually you have to do something to get title shots.

He's had a few fights fall through, long periods of inactivity but when he was in his early thirties there wasn't many guys who wanted to fight a 6'5 southpaw... He won regional belts to get into position & got appointed his mandatory slots without really earning it. He went from timur ibragimov & chazz witherspoon to title fights... He's a relative unknown to many...i guess you could say he's lucky or has a damn good connection in the IBF...
