Your not wrong Welts. That was a crack in his façade if I ever saw one! I've never heard anybody with the audacity to say something like that about the Klitschko's! Definitely a nationalistic thing. The US don't even realise how bad a sportsmanship they're painting themselves worldwide. If your beat get better, don't sook and don't dwell in the past!

Considering the amount of fights he did have, the amount of active time he boxed and the normal amount of fights a HW boxer has in his era... What more could he have accomplished? His competition wasn't that bad and he wiped the floor with it!

I'm not normally defending Vitali so closely, normally I'm defending Lewis's honour or criticising him on the Byrd pull out but I really can't stand it when something is so black and white, that Vitali has had an exceptional career, broken records and is a force to be reckoned with for any other HW in history, and is definitely ATG and HOF material it cannot be denied and yet guys here are trying to bummify him, like comparing him to Carnera HA! Or guys that didn't even fight real HW's! Or lost to lesser fighters.
Just ramblings of complete fools!

I guess this guy is gonna start the argument that Vitali ducked Rahman...
I actually RATE Rahman well, but Vitali actively pursued Lewis, who he obviously regarded as the champ and far more dangerous than Rahman and by that stage of Hasim's career was a bit spent. It's total bollocks that Vitali was scared of Rahman!
It WAS injuries that caused Vitali to take a layoff. There can be no doubt! He wanted to box on!
