Looks like he got caught with a left hook.
Don't know if it was while he was coming in or not though

Zavec is good, didn't expect Thurman to say he was hurt by him though.
Although, Berto was getting the business before the stoppage.
I think this fight doesn't go the distance... just a matter of picking who.

I haven't seen an awful lot of either guy but from what I seen of Chaves I felt he was absolutely horrendous myself.
He seems to be getting a lot of attention and I'm assuming its because hes Argentinian and because of his K.O % and people hoping hes the next Maidana/Matthysse but from what I seen I feel hes useless.
He looks nothing to me but a poor mans Hector Saldivia.

In a scheduled 6 round junior middleweight contest, Keith Thurman kept his record perfect by outslugging Quandary Robertson. Robertson got off to a great start by dropping Thurman with a lead left hook, the very first punch of the fight thrown. However, it was all Thurman from there, as he would drop Robertson later in the first round with an overhang right. Thurman would again knock down Robertson in the second round after pinning him against the ropes and landing a hook, undercut, hook combo. In the third round, to end the fight, Thurman connected with a solid left undercut to the chin of Robertson flooring him hard enough for the referee to immediately waive off the fight. With a knockout victory at 2:40 of the third round, Thurman improves to (14-0, 13 KOs), while Robertson drops to (15-10, 10 KOs).

Just by reading that, it doesn't seem like it was a serious knockdown. But it's hard to say without actual video footage.

Chaves getting rocked by Weis is on Youtube, though. Dude was badly shaken up there, so it's a bit concerning.

        Starts around the 28:30 mark....

          Nice, thanks.
I recall him vaguely getting shook up in another fight just before he knocked the guy out. I can't remember who against but I will have a look now and see if I can come across it.

Yea... it says first punch of the fight. Weird.

Chaves seems a little too reckless to me and I don't think he's that good. Would be a good win for either guy tho.

Yea, whoever wins should technically be in line for Broner's belt

That was a damn good shot, it's hard to rate how good ones chin is based off getting hit that cleanly.

He seemed to have recovered alright IMO, but Thurman will be relentless
