I think he should.
Erik is at an odd point in his career. He's fought so many grueling fights and he's caught in between two bad scenarios as far as weight classes go.
At 130, he seems a bit tired and sluggish. He was a lot sharper in his entrance bout at this weight, but I don't think that's the case at 130 anymore.
At 135, he runs the risk of being overmatched by bigger, stronger, faster fighters overall. This was apparent against Raheem, as Erik wasn't able to do any damage against a bad style matchup guy.
Should my boy Terrible come back for another say 2-3 fights, his team should be careful with who they match him up against. I've followed his entire career and he's clearly not the fighter he was 2 years ago, so he needs to take on guys that will play into the skills/strengths he still possesses. Now I'm not saying that he should exactly be protected because that's not fair to him, but his team just needs to be wise.
High energy guys with power like Pacquiao are obviously kryptonite for this older, more worn down version of Erik.
