If both fighters are waiting to counter, nothing will happen. The audience will get bored and start booing. People pay to get entertained.

Doesn't matter money is in the pocket. People pay to see preservation skills in the ring too. real talk.

Should I really try to explain the difference? If you haven't figured out the difference then your too simple

More combination punches and I believe Mayweather could keep a man down for 10 secs. Doesn't need to be knocked unconscious.

Mayweather is a great fighter with his own style. I like watching him fight because of his skill and sharp accurate punches. I don't think he does much holding or holding and hitting. I think he is a pretty clean fighter except for an illegal blow with his elbow now and then. I would much rather watch him fight than Ward or Hopkins who are both good fighters but dirty fighters as well. They both wrestle and hold and hit and head butt and usually get away with it.

There's no difference there's no extra pay with an KO win. Most people KO's are when they are coming up in the ranks. I guess you haven't figured most elite fighters to don't keep racking up KO's

Any fighter who steps in a ring is a man. Any fighter who is as cool under pressure as Floyd is a natural.

You mean like what he did with Hatton?

Mayweather is an absolute master. He pops guys cleanly all night, but I can only recall him getting caught clean maybe a handful of times. Respect the teacher.
